We’re anticipating a great 2018 at Hemp Depot. Our 2017 harvest was our best to date and we’re projecting even better results for this year.
We’re proud to be the top distributor of domestic cannabidiol (CBD) in the United States. We’re also vigilant when it comes to maintaining our reputation for providing our customers with the cleanest and best-quality, hemp-derived THC-free CBD available – via our hemp seeds, hemp oil, clones and flowers.
And because of that commitment we’re constantly innovating and looking for ways to improve our products.
We’re excited by some new extraction and refinement techniques that are coming on-line. This next-generation technology is finally allowing ethanol-extracted, full-spectrum CBD oil to meet and compete with the quality points of both the BHO (butane hash oil) and CO2 (carbon dioxide) extraction processes.
Ethanol has around for decades, if not longer, and is well-known for its ability to create a wide variety of tinctures and oils. But new technologies are now allowing ethanol to extract not only cannabinoids and terpenes out of hemp plants, but also some other, very important compounds.
“There are aldahydes, esthers, ethyls, ketones, and a range of other chemicals that make up the full spectrum of beneficial compounds in cannabis,” chemist Erwin Sibal said in a recent Leafly.com article. “Because of the dual role ethanol plays as a solvent, it is capable of extracting the whole of the plant better than any hydrocarbon or CO2.”
Hemp Depot is committed to bringing our customers the best, U.S-grown, unadulterated hemp-derived CBD products. And for the past three years we’ve also been in the forefront of the CBD industry, when it comes to working with new techniques and concepts that improve our products.
